Magic Factory animation studio is looking for a MATERIAL-ARTIST in UE4

Job responsibilities:

  • Shading assets in UE4 for photoreel and high resolution;
  • Writing customized materials to meet the needs of specific assets in UE4;
  • Creating procedural and customized textures;
  • Creating customized masks for different assets;
  • Setting up water shaders with the Waterline plugin and VAT objects;


  • Knowledge of UE4 tools;
  • Knowledge of the basics of frame composition, color schemes, shape and light;
  • Ability to work with materials and blueprints (writing customized HLSL shaders will be a huge plus);
  • Knowledge of modern technologies and approaches to content production and optimization;
  • Knowledge of Substance Designer and Substance Painter/Mari;
